Good Service Should be Acknowledged

In so many cases in our daily dealings with those who provide goods and services to us, we walk away feeling that we were poorly treated and that the service received is substandard.  When we receive really poor service, we can't wait to tell everyone that we know what a terrible experience we had with the xyz company.  Well I believe that when we receive good service, we should be just as anxious to tell everyone that we can about such service.  If any of you have ever flown Air Tran Airlines, hopefully you had an experience like mine on a recent trip out west.  The people were friendly and helpful, they made every effort to make everyone with whom they came into contact with comfortable and appreciated.  Most surprising to anyone who has ever flown United, American, Delta or the other large carriers, every Air Tran plane left on time and arrived ahead of schedule.  These folks start boarding their planes 40 to 45 minutes ahead of their scheduled departure to ensure everyone is on board prior to the scheduled departure time, what a concept!

In addition to the above, this is an airline that's low cost, has on first class, but a business class that you can upgrade to for a mere $49 to $149 depending on how far you're traveling.  When you upgrade, you get what on most carriers is a First Class seat and comes with a couple of free drinks and better snacks than the rest of the plane.  Now I'm Just Sayin, the extra leg room alone is worth the upgrade price.

If you have occassion to travel in the future, and Air Tran is going your way, I highly recommend them.

Tune in tomorrow for my State of the Union commentary.

Couldn't agree more! Great airlines that will even get better with their acquisition by Southwest.
